Garbage Chutes - Disgusting But Necessary

Probably the most disgusting place in a building is the garbage chute. If you’ve ever lived in a city apartment or been employed in a tall building, you know exactly what I’m talking about. As soon as someone opens the latch, a horrid smelling air burps out into the immediate area, causing everyone to gag. A lot of stuff is thrown away every day in businesses and apartments, and a good portion of that stuff is gross stuff. Gross stuff like sanitation products, diapers, personal care items, maybe rotting food. Who knows how long they’ve been mingling and mixing in there. With the amount of tenants in the building, there could be a lot just stagnating. How long has it been since you got garbage chute cleaning? Days? Weeks? Months? Years? There’s a lot of bacteria that could be inhaled coming out of there every time someone throws something away, and it’s not healthy at all.

Did you know there are tons of bacteria, insects, and viruses growing and multiplying in the grime and crease that is coating the walls of the garbage chutes? When was the last time the chute was cleaned? Some landlords don’t ever have their chutes cleaned. All that stuff is flowing out of the shoot in the air every time a tenant opens the latch. It’s not just a terrible smell they’re breathing in. It’s all those harmful organisms, and it’s a humongous risk to health.

The good news is, it’s easy to get your chutes a proper cleaning. Notice I said “get”, because you’re not the one doing it. There’s a lot of companies out there who will do it, like Nasco International. On a daily basis, they’re making sure they offer cleaning and carcinogen free products that are environmentally safe. They want to make sure that all who count on you, be it your family or multiple families, are living healthy, breathing healthy, and happy in their own homes. Just one of the many services offered is garbage chute cleaning.

To give you simplified idea of how it’s done, Nasco will start by sealing the garbage chutes. From the highest chute, they spray pressurized, boiling hot water. The water starts to dislodge the build up, which is mostly grime or rotting food. It’s not just water, though, it’s also a biodegradable and safe detergent that will dissolve every thing the pressure can’t remove. Then comes the rinse, which is a similar process but at a lower pressure. This fully dislodges anything that is yet to be removed, which has been hit with the detergent. They conclude the process with a sanitizer and a deodorant that are made to work well into the future to protect the chute walls from any further grime and stench.

It’s easy to become a successful cleaning company like Nasco when use a specialized process. Not only people, but the environment are always on their mind, especially when they’re working on revolutionizing products and systems that reduce the indoor air pollution exposure of the world’s inhabitants. They want to eliminate grime, food, grease, dirt, and bacteria, which is the source. Many other companies just throw harsh smelling chemicals on top of the problem, instead of eliminating it.

Nasco is the place to go for cleaning needs, and it’s not difficult to understand why many individuals and business go to them every day. To be successful, you need to make sure your tenants, employees, or family are happy and healthy. Trusting in a garbage chute cleaning company is not difficult when you decide to go with Nasco. By simply revolutionizing the commercial cleaning industry, they established a straight path to success.
