Some Advice On How To Jazz Up Your Car With 24 Inch Rims

Everyone knows that 24 inch rims are big, and it's as it should be - as they were designed to be put on some pretty big automobiles. But, because it's just human nature for people to want to "out-do" each other, a lot of folks put them on their average sized vehicles in an effort to stand out as outrageously as possible. Moreover, they do this even though most of the time they know it might not be a good idea. But is there a way to put these giants on the smaller cars, so you can drive them on the road? And, if so, what kind of cars could you "jazz up" to make your "statement"?

Well, first off, the reason you can't just slap big rims on your tiny car is because of the differences in design and size - and many a regretful car owner could tell you stories of how his steering wheel locked up when he tried to make a left hand turn, and caused an accident. But don't despair - you can have modified tires made that will enable your vehicle to accommodate those big rims, and this will take care of the driving problem!

So now that the good news has been delivered, here is a short list of just a few of the cars you might "trick out" with 24 inch rims. (And please remember that the definition of a tricked out automobile might be different to different people.)

The Station Wagon - A longtime symbol of the stability of family life, this automobile can be decked out with giant rims. And the next time Mom drives to a PTA meeting to meet with the teachers, she can distract their attention away from Johnny's slipping grades - and redirect it to a vehicular phenomenon they never thought they'd be witnessing.

An AMC Gremlin - To put it nicely, this is NOT a handsome automobile, and in fact, it's been said that its name fits it perfectly. Well, if you have a Gremlin, why not take it the extra mile, and make it really stand out in the "bizarre" category? Thumb your nose at propriety and drive that little car down the road with some shiny bling-bling rims and custom wheels.

The "Chevelle" - If any car was made to house those 24 "inchers" it's any Chevelle from the 1960s through the 70s. A sleek road demon with a huge motor, the extra huge rims complement its capacity for lightening speed, and not many people would argue this point.

A Hearse - Yes, this is one of the more bizarre big rim ideas - but maybe an idea whose time has come. Consider this - if the funeral you are planning is for a loved one who loved to "live" outrageously, why not deck out the hearse transporting him with extra big rims and special tires - and make his final send off a real blast that won't soon be forgotten. You may start a trend with people, and in this way, bring a glimmer of light to an otherwise very sad occasion.

So now you know that you CAN put big, sparkly 24 inch rims on any car you'd like - you just have to modify the tires, and add the rims, doing so safely. You want people to sit up and take notice of you and your car - not read about the traffic pile up you caused when your car became inoperable because of a lack of knowledge on your part.
